I ‘m delighted that we are now in the World Wide Web. I believe this will give awareness about ZAA to a wide circle of people around the planet. Our Services to Local and International industry over many years have been quite outstanding, and it is my utmost hope that by being in this modern atmosphere of communication, our efforts will be more suitably rewarded.
Zanzibar Airports Authority (ZAA) was established by the Airport Authority Act no. 8 of 2011 as the national statutory body with initial responsibility for the nation’s two airports; namely Abeid Amani Karume International Airport (AAKIA) and Pemba Airport. It assumed the functions of the former Department of Aviation under the Ministry of Communications and Transport, currently known as the Ministry of Infrastructure and Communications.
